Starting from the port of Moniga * you see right away eastwards at a distance of about 5 km the impressive panorama of the tip of Sirmione with its charming castle Scaligero. We advise (keeping to a minimum distance of 300 m. From the coast) to take a ride around the tip to admire the famous caves of Catullo, clearly visible remains of a Roman villa built between the I sec.a.C. and I sec.d.C.
On the west side of the peninsula there are also slabs in the rock where they were formed of "natural pools", the crystal clear water invites you to take a dip, obviously after having firmly anchored the boat and making sure that the current does not move it to the coast .
The peninsula of Sirmione is reached from Moniga in approx.15 / 20 minutes. Particularly striking is the evening out with back towards the sunset on Moniga.
We always recommend to keep a minimum distance of 300 meters. from the coast.
* For departures from the Port of Dusano Manerba keep heading south along up to Moniga and then follow path as described
